About Me

I am a family and childhood photographer located in Winterville, GA, serving Athens and the surrounding area. While I primarily shoot children, I have a deep passion for High School Senior photography and weddings! I am also available for newborn and maternity photography. I love working with people and getting to know new people. Your referrals are very important to me because it gives me the opportunity to meet someone I may have never met otherwise!

I have been married to my husband Sean since 1999 and we have two beautiful kids, Gabe - Aug, 05, and Layla - Dec, 07. When I am not shooting for clients, I love to take pictures of my own kids (when I can catch them)! I also love anything related to the outdoors including camping, fishing, hunting, or just being outside (when it’s not too hot that is!). I love to read and yes, I do love to watch TV (that’s what I do when it’s too hot to be outside!).

I hope to capture wonderful memories for you and your family and to give you a timeless and quality product in the prints and items that you order from me. I use only the best printing labs to ensure that you get a product that will be with you and your family for years to come. Thank you for considering me for your custom portrait experience! I hope that you will be pleased and 100% satisfied as I strive everyday to refine myself and my art so that I can give you and your family the best that you can get!

Meet the Robinsons

Ha! I had to do that! :-) I had a great time awhile back photographing this beautiful extended family! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the parents and the boys most of my life and two years ago, I had the please of shooting Morgan and Seth’s wedding! I think it was a great idea for them to all get together again as a family and have these pictures made. I think more families should follow suit and preserve their memories, not only for the generations to come, but also for themselves! I hope you enjoy this little preview I created for them!

Ellie (and Georgia)

I love it when my clients have ideas about ways to style their sessions!! This sweet girl’s mom had an idea of a “slice of Americana” and I think it was a perfect idea with a perfect backdrop! And they even brought sweet Georgia along and she was perfect too! I think these shots turned out just like what I had in mind, I hope they are just what Ellie’s mama had in mind as well!

Rachael + Luke – Married!

What a perfect fall day for the marriage of a perfect couple! Rachael just happens to be my cousin and I KNEW that because of the awesome love these two have for each other and the amazing love they both have for God, that it would be a very special day… and it was!! The people were beautiful, the setting was beautiful, and the union of love that was joined that day was beautiful. I was so blessed to be a part of it. Here are just a FEW of my favs from the day.

A heartfelt first look….

I love that they prayed together during the first look. So special!

One of my favorite pics of the couple. I told you they were beautiful!

This has to be one of my all time favorite jumping pictures!!

What a great group of guys and girls!!

“The Kiss”

These were taken during a very special video message from Rachael’s brother Jared who is currently serving overseas in the Army.

First dance….

Rachael and Luke – I wish you THE VERY BEST in life and in love! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of your very special day!!

2012 Fall Mini Sessions

Happy Fall Y’all!! Ok, I know it’s no where NEAR being fall-like yet, but maybe if we all start gearing up for it, it will happen sooner rather than later!!! Cool weather or not, I have big plans to hold fall mini sessions once again this year! I am so excited to be shooting my mountain sessions once again in the beautiful mountains of North East GA and as always, I will also hold some mini sessions here locally for those of you that can’t make it north!

For either location, $100 gets you:
- 15-20 minute session
- 10-15 fully edited proofs in your own personal gallery
- 1 digital file with print release
- Additional purchases available at discounted rates

The location for the mountain sessions is just south of Dillard, GA in Mountain City and is just under a 2 hr drive from Athens. The location (and theme?!?!) for the Athens sessions is still TBD but it will be very close proximity to all things Athens, GA!

$100 retainer is due AT BOOKING to hold your spot! These will be popular this year as I already have a few mountain sessions booked so I don’t want anyone to miss out over not getting a retainer in! Retainer lets me know you are serious. ;-) You can email me at info@sueannhollandphotography.com to make your appt or with any questions.

(Please note that the mountain sessions are Fri and Sun – sorry no Sat this yr as I will be celebrating and shooting my wonderful cousin’s wedding that day!)

Jessica – Oconee County High School Senior

Oh mother nature! Poor Jessica – we had to reschedule her session twice because of rain (thank you Isaac!) and then FINALLY on Tues we were able to try and go for it. It was cloudy but there was sun peeking through here and there. And then 20 minutes into our session, here comes the rain!! Thankfully we were at the botanical gardens on a Tues which just happens to be the day the conservatory stays open late so we were able to go in there. I know shooting in there can be a nightmare for many different reasons but Jessica and I were able to pull off some really nice stuff (at least I think so anyway!). Here are a few of my favs…

Good luck Jessica! Hope you have a wonderful senior year!

Max – Madison County High School Senior

I was so happy when Max’s mom asked me to do his pictures. I don’t get to shoot as many senior guys so it’s always a welcome change when I do! And I’ve known Max his whole life and know what a cutie he is so that was just icing on the cake! Max has been wrestling in his gym since 7th grade and he wanted most of his pictures to represent that. I think we pulled that off!

Best of luck, Max, with your senior year and congratulations!!!

The “W” Family

I just love this family and have shot for them once, before “little miss” came into the picture! They are such a sweet family of four now and we had a great time roaming around the farm getting some fun shots of everybody! These are a few I have picked out as my favorites…

Handsome little man!

Isn’t she precious?

Country kiddos!

Bailey – Oconee County High School Senior

Another beautiful class of 2013 senior! I have had the BEST time w/these seniors this year and Bailey was no exception! We had fun at the Botanical Gardens getting her pictures to commemorate her senior year. Here are a few of my favs from her session.

Her daddy requested a photo on this rock because he had taken her picture there many years ago! How neat!!

Just beautiful! Congratulations Bailey and best of luck this year!

Kimberly – Oconee County High School Senior

When Kimberly’s mom called me and told me she was the winner of a door prize that I had donated for teacher appreciation week AND that she had a senior daughter that she wanted the session for, I was ecstatic! I LOVE seniors and truly hope to photograph more and more this coming fall! And Kimberly was a beautiful model! She was so much fun and we had a great time at her session! I love the photos we got that evening at the Botanical Gardens and hope you do too!!
