About Me
I am a family and childhood photographer located in Winterville, GA, serving Athens and the surrounding area. While I primarily shoot children, I have a deep passion for High School Senior photography and weddings! I am also available for newborn and maternity photography. I love working with people and getting to know new people. Your referrals are very important to me because it gives me the opportunity to meet someone I may have never met otherwise!
I have been married to my husband Sean since 1999 and we have two beautiful kids, Gabe - Aug, 05, and Layla - Dec, 07. When I am not shooting for clients, I love to take pictures of my own kids (when I can catch them)! I also love anything related to the outdoors including camping, fishing, hunting, or just being outside (when it’s not too hot that is!). I love to read and yes, I do love to watch TV (that’s what I do when it’s too hot to be outside!).

Yesterday I had a great opportunity so shoot a wonderful extended family… including a fellow photographer! I’ve “known” Scott Greene for awhile now as a friend through Facebook and as a fellow local photographer. Scott is a very talented photographer but shooting your own family is probably one of the most difficult things a photographer can try to do so I was honored when he asked me to take on the task for him. It’s difficult being in FRONT of the camera when you are so used to being on the other side but I think he is a natural, as is his adorable son Owen and his beautiful wife Erica. I was also honored to meet his parents and brother as well! We had a great time shooting at the UGA Founder’s Memorial Gardens yesterday! I hope you guys like the previews and I can’t wait for you to see the rest very soon!
I really enjoyed photographing this wonderful family at the State Botanical Gardens this past weekend! I have shot the daughter and her family several times and was happy to add the parents and a brother and sister in law and niece as well!! They are definitely a beautiful family and as usual, a lot of fun (minus a minor goldfish infraction). It was a pleasure meeting them and I hope they enjoy the pics!
I was really blessed to get to photography Luke this past weekend. Poor guy – it ended up being pretty chilly that morning and you could tell he wasn’t loving being outside in it… who could blame him!?!? He’s such a sweet two year old that LOVES his mommy!! So much I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to detach him from her! But no matter, we still got some really great shots of him! And hopefully he spent the rest of the day thawing out from our torture photography session!!!

So how do I buy/book???
On Friday, November 25th, you will find your gallery rehosted with the Black Friday prices already included! All sessions that took place in 2011 are eligible. Current galleries are eligible and the special pricing will show up in your gallery. If you have just held or will be holding your session before the end of 2011 and your gallery is not live yet, contact me if you wish to take advantage of this deal. Anyone can take advantage of the BOGO certificates!
If you wish to purchase the Saturday deals, please contact me and we will arrange payment.

Black Friday sales begin when your gallery goes live (sometime on Thursday) and will end at midnight on Friday. Satuday deals end at midnight on Saturday.
Gift certificate purchases are good towards prints/products for past or future sessions or for future sessions’ session fee. Certificates are not redeemable for cash and hold no cash value. Certificates expire one year from the date of purchase.
Digital file sale is for single file purchases only and can not be combined with other offers nor can these files be purchased with the BOGO certificates.
Payment is expected at the time of purchase via pay pal. If you need to mail a check, that is fine, however files and certificates will not be sent until payment is received.
Digital files will be EMAILED to you – please make sure to back them up – you will not receive a disk.
What a sweet, sweet, trio!! I was very blessed this evening to shoot these siblings at the State Botanical Gardens. They all three had such sweet spirits and were so good together. I’m just SURE they act like this all the time! 
No, really, I bet they actually do!! I hope they enjoyed hanging out with me (although I bet Oliver is just in it for the candy!) as much as I enjoyed hanging out with them! Here are a few previews of what we got.
I had a GREAT time shooting this year’s fall mini’s at the Founder’s Memorial Garden yesterday! I had a GREAT turn out – 4 awesome families! I love these sessions because they are just long enough to get some really great shots but nobody has to spend hours and hours in front of the camera so it’s great for those (ahem… hubbies) people that don’t love to have their pics made! I will definitely do these again next year so if you missed out, this year make sure you get you a spot then!

Our church was so blessed earlier this year to welcome a new pastor and his family! We are so excited about the new life they have brought into our church. I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the family recently and it was so much fun. They are such a sweet and loving family and I hope it show in their photos! Wow! What a perfect long weekend! My family and I enjoyed a MUCH needed vacation in the beautiful mountains of North East Georgia! We antiqued, went to the fair, ate (A LOT!), we even slid down the side of a mountain in an inner tube (yes, on our own free wills and yes, we thouroughly enjoyed it!!!). I look forward to this vacation every October for many reasons, but for the last few years, for the fact that I can combine the fall beauty with the amazing mountains and some georgeous families… throw in my camera and get some stunning results!! I LOVE shooting my now official “Annual North Georgia Mountain Sessions”! This year I made it my mission to set out and find a new location and really believe it was heaven sent!! The location provided a perfect setting whether we were shooting in the morning or in that amazing golden hour evening light! Three beautiful families joined me this year and here is just a small taste of what we got.
I was thrilled when an old friend from high school contacted me about doing a session for her while she was in town visiting family! Henry has such a sweet three year old spirit. It always amazes me when a mom sees their child as being challenging at a session but I can see something totally different through my lens! I can’t wait to show her even more of his pics and how well he did! SO many awesome shots of him! Melissa – it was GREAT catching up with you and SO great to meet Henry! I hope we can do this again sometime when you guys are in town!
