Tonight I had another wonderful session with a Little Hero and her family. Addie Grace was adopted from China when she was 20 months old but before that, she had to endure a heart surgery at only 8 months of age to repair a moderate sized hole in her tiny little heart. Her mama commented on her application about how sad it makes her to know that she had to do that without loving parents to hold her and tell her everything would be alright.  She has overcome so much in her short little life and now she is blessed to be part of a wonderful and loving family! She is also a trooper to have endured the humidity tonight – you can see we were all starting to sweat before it was all over with. But no matter, she is an awesome and courageous  little girl with a bright future in front of her! I feel very blessed to have met her and her wonderful family!

SEE YOU IN 2010!!!!

So you booked your family session. Inevitably, the next question you are going to ask me is: “what should we wear”. Coordinate – definitely a must. Be exact matches of each other, well, not as  much, but it works. Try this instead…

This family is a perfect example of what to wear. See how everyone’s colors tend to radiate off of sweet little Lauren’s colorful sweater? Her sweater is bold, but not overbearingly so and the coordination of all of her family member’s clothes go perfectly with her trendy little outfit. Of course it doesn’t hurt that her mommy is an interior designer and I know for a fact that she has style because I used to roomy with her and borrow her clothes! And you guys will definitely be seeing this shot on my client site under the “what to wear tab”!

A few of my favs of the beautiful kids. This was officially Lauren’s 1 yr session, just a little bit late! You met Lauren twice earlier this year – at 3 months and again at 6 months.

She has two handsome brothers that she shared the stage with this time: Garrett

I had such a great time tonight with this sweet couple! Tom is one of my coworkers and his wife Jamie had such a fun and sweet personality! I’m so thankful to have met her! They are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first baby on New Year’s Eve!! I know that she or he will make an awesome Christmas present for them and will truly bless their family! I hope you guys enjoy these previews! I will get back to you asap with the rest!!

I was so honored when a longtime family friend called and asked would I shoot her family for a birthday gift to her son and daughter in law. Larger groups are often a challenge but not this one! They were all easy going and ok with anything, even down to the yougest of just 2 years old! I hope you guys like this little preview and I will be in touch with you soon with the rest of your pictures!

Sienna was the winner of the Little Miss Marigold category in the Winterville Marigold Pageant this past February. I gave each of the three winners a session and Sienna used hers today. She is a beautiful young lady as you can tell by her photos. I had a hard time picking out favorites because she doesn’t take a bad picture! But here are a few that I narrowed it down to just for the preview!

Meet Miss Jordan. She is C-U-T-E as a button and full of personality. She is newly 2 and you can tell she keeps her mama and Grandma hoppin! I was so happy to have the opportunity to meet them all today and to photograph this little beauty! Hope you like your sneak peek!!

Today is Virginia’s 18th birthday!

I had the pleasure of photographing her and her two beautiful sisters today. These girls were a joy to work with and they all take such beautiful pictures. I really love their classic names: Savannah Lee, Virginia Jo, and Elizabeth Grace. Aren’t their names just as beautiful as they are? Girls, I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!
