You may remember Aiden’s mommy’s maternity session that we did recently. Well, the little guy is finally here, only 11 days new! He was as sweet as can be, slept perfectly for us and let us do anything we wanted w/him. I can say that I now know you should not hand a mommy an undiapered newborn for mommy and me shots. That’s probably all I should say about that!! Never the less, we got some really great shots of him and I can’t wait to watch him grow up!!
Meet Jack! He is 7 weeks new and cute as can be!! He was very good for us today – didn’t even fuss at all and then he koncked out in mommy’s arms for some sleeping pics. I was thrilled to take his pictures today and hope he will come back to see me as he grows!
This weekend I had the pleasure of traveling to my in-laws to meet the newest member of our family. Sweet Ellie Rose was only 4 days old on Sat when we shot these. She is simply adorable and I could have just eaten her up! She was so sweet, I had a really hard time choosing favorites!! You’ll probably notice she gets more preview shots than most of my clients but she has an excuse – she’s family! Happy birthday Ellie Rose! We’re so glad you are finally here!
What a sweet little cutie Declan was. He started out wide awake today and we got some cute wide eyed shots of him, then Daddy showed up and got him off to dream land in no time. I’m betting he’s prob resting really well tonight as we totally wore him out! His mommy and daddy are smitten with him, you can tell, and he’s just as sweet as he can be. Hope you guys like the previews!
Oh I was so excited to meet Sam. I have done some sessions with his fun older brother and some of his other family members in the past and was anxiously awaiting his arrival! He definitely didn’t disappoint! He was as good as gold and we got some really sweet shots of him. I can’t wait to watch him and his big bro Jack grow!! Laura and Josh, thank you again for another fun and successful session w/your beautiful family!!

Littlest Heroes is an organization that allows photographers to give a priceless gift to the families of the littlest heroes and to the heroes themselves. They give them the gift of memories. Holland Photography is proud to be a participating photographer in this organization.
You can read all about the organization on the website linked above but I am here to announce to you my participation in this worthy organization and encourage anyone out there that knows and loves a little hero to contact them and apply for a littlest heroes session. Holland Photography would be HONORED to photograph your hero!! You do need to apply through the website and state your location as “Athens GA” and you will be more likely to be matched with me. Once you are approved and accepted, we will get together and hold a session, free of charge, featuring your hero. You will receive a min of 10 prints from your session that are yours to keep – again, no charge. Should you apply and for some reason get denied (sadly they are not able to accept all applications due to the sheer number that apply) please contact me directly but please make every effort to apply through the organization first.
Any and all heroes are eligible. Let me help give you something that will last a lifetime. The gift of hope, strength, and courage through the art of photography.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting tiny Katelyn! You can see her mama’s maternity pictures here. She was a good model – she didn’t so much care for being naked though. Well, not at all actually! But she was still good and we got some really great shots of her! She’s just 2.5 weeks old and is the tiniest little peanut ever. I’m really excited about getting to watch her grow up!

Wow what an awesome Christmas present! Little Tommy showed up just 4 days before Christmas giving his mommy and daddy the best Christmas present ever! He was such a treat to photograph too – slept like a dream, didn’t poop or pee on us, didn’t even whimper… much! He really was a great little fellow and I could tell his parents were smitten with him. Can you blame them? Look at how sweet he is!!
I’m a country girl at heart so I loved their twist on the baby scale shot!! SO neat!

This is the 2nd Sat in a row I have photographed a precious preemie miracle! Seems only fitting as Nov is National Prematurity Awareness Month!! Today was actually Kason’s due date, but he is 7 weeks old! He was a strong fighter from day one and actually weighed over 4 lbs when he was born. He lived in the NICU for just a couple of short weeks and has been home with his loving family ever since! I was honored to get to take his pictures today. I had made plans with his mommy to do maternity pictures, but apparently Kason had other plans!! Hope you guys like the preview!!
