These girls came to me as the winners of my blog contest! (well, their mama anyway!). And I’m sincerely pleased to say I am SO glad they won because they were a real treat to photograph. Each one of them just loves the camera (as you can see!). And when I would run out of posing ideas, they were all three quick to offer up (very good, mind you) suggestions!! AND, I even talked mom into holding my reflector and I’m so glad I did bc I think it made for some really great light on these beautiful girls’ faces!! I truly hope I have the opportunity to work with this crew again!! Congrats on winning Jill!!

Ok, so this family wins the “insert really creative and crafty name for BRAVE/FUN/REALLY BRAVE” award. I think as I was getting up yesterday morning I heard on the news that the temperature of SIXTEEN DEGREES was a tie for the record low for Athens. No problem for these 24 brave souls! They were all “up and at em” at 10:00 am sharp in the now 22 degree weather. And not so much as a (ok, well, not TOO many) grumble!!

I had a GREAT time w/these folks and was happy to have gotten to meet them. Their “ring leader”, my coworker and friend, Amanda, did an awesome job of pulling this huge shoot together. So as I go through their um, 255 some odd shots from yesterday, here a few I pulled out to give you a taste. Hope you all like them! There are PLENTY more coming soon!!

Only 8 days new. He is the precious new baby of one of my coworkers and friends and I am SO happy for them to get to experience parenthood. And Hudson is SO sweet and SO cute – don’t you just want to smooch him? Guys I hope you enjoy your sneek peeks!!

These two are just the cutest. This is the third time they have been in front of my camera in some combination or another and it’s always fun. The oldest is almost two and she’s more content to run rampant around my garage than sit still for a picture or two but I keep assuring her mommy and daddy that is quite normal and not to worry… we got some good ones of her anyway! Hope you like…

It’s getting close to Christmas! We went to the mall and watched Santa march in last night. THAT was chaos! I think these two’s mommy and daddy thought their session was chaos but no, it was pretty typical for a 4 yr old and a 1.5 yr old! And I think we got some great shots! So apparently my husband’s tractor is all the rage with the little boys! I think this is my best prop to date and it’s definitely my oldest! Sean turned 40 this year and this was his as a boy…if that tells you anything! I keep saying I’m going to clean it up but I’m thinking the dirt dabber’s nests only add to it’s character.

Today was the day for the fall mini sessions. I held two sessions this morning and I’m secretly thankful this was all that booked because I was pooped after these two!! Let’s see, there was a snake (yes, in November, weird I know!) and the cutest little and most well behaved dog ever! I had these people climbing trees, sitting on wet benches and doing all kinds of stuff and they were all troopers! I love the results from both sessions and thought I’d give both a quick sneak peek tonight! I can’t wait for you all to see the full galleries! I hope you will be pleased!

This little guy is one of my little girl’s classmates and he is the CUTEST thing ever! He has always struck me as being such a little “man”. He makes such a cute baby, but it’s alomst as if you can already tell what a handsome thing he’s going to be as a teenager  – such a heartbreaker!

We did some cake smash pictures since he will be ONE in December. I was SO happy when his mama suggested it! I think it’s a fun (albeit a bit messy) way to do one year pictures and it looks great on 1st birthday invites!!
