This little cutie made my day. It was kind of iffy if this session would even happen because of the rains moving through today, but we lucked out and got a good solid hour of nice, albeit a bit humid, weather for this little sweetie’s photos. She brought along her Mama and her Nana, and her very loved little rabbit lovie named, well, “lovie”. She let me babysit lovie most of the time we were shooting. She was so very cute at two and half years young. She even sang “Baby Bumblebee” for me, which happens to be one of my favs. Hope you enjoy these previews…

The Easter Bunny thought Brock would be a great Easter gift to his mommy and daddy and I think I have to agree. Isn’t he the cutest? He was a good boy for us today too. He wasn’t too keen on us laying him down, he preferred to hang out on mommy’s shoulder, but he still let us get some nice shots of him, including a few sleeping ones! Enjoy…

I am excited to announce the new and improved version of the spiral bound proof books!! They do look very similar to the original ones, but in my opinion (and hopefully yours too), these are much better! The front and back covers are now a photo mounted on the same material I mount my large prints on. It’s called styrene but that probably means nothing to most of you so in case you’ve never seen it, it’s a durable, very strong, vinyl-type material. Also, the pages are on extra thick professional photographic paper which makes the colors really pop! The really fun part of them are the new rounded corners!! Aren’t they a neat touch? Here are a few pictures so you can see just what I mean. They will come in both 4×6 and 5×7 sizes as usual.

For now, pricing will stay the same but beacuse they are so much nicer than the previous ones, there will be a slight price increase on them after July 1st, 2009. The new prices will be announced closer to then. I did two sessions yesterday and decided to save their previews for today instead. What better way to honor two wonderful mom’s than with pictures of their precious babes? I know, as a mother, not as a photographer, how dear I hold pictures of my little ones. The good ones and the bad ones! Truth is, there is no bad picture of your child. People tell me all the time how much they love their pictures from my sessions (THANK YOU!) and how wonderfully I captured their children. That is the reason I do this. To hear your happiness and know that you love the moments I have captured for you.

Yesterday I got to meet someone new (thank you April for the referral!) and her two precious children – Nate, 7 weeks new and his big sis Ava. Their mommy thought Nate was being uncooporative, but I promised her she’d be suprised and I hope she is when she finally sees her final gallery! Happy Mother’s Day Carrie!

Later yesterday afternoon, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Lauren again. I think I said in my last post about her that the camera loves her and it truly does! She is was all smiles and grins, and even sat  in the infamous tea cup for a good long while without a wimper. She DID pout a little bit when we took her beads and her handband off. Guess she really DOES know what a diva she is! Happy Mother’s Day Jocelyn! I love ya!

Six months ago, I introduced you to Hudson. He was all sweet and sleepy and curled up on that bean bag. Today he was still sweet, just not so sleepy (although he did conk out there at the end! Using your mommy’s legs as a constant trampoline must be really exhausting!). He is absolutely adorable, don’t you agree!!! I hope you guys like the preview…
