A friend of mine opened up a new baby store in downtown Watkinsville. The Natural Baby is a neat solution for parents who use cloth diapers especially, because they carry a large assortment of them. The store owners Rebecca and Tripp Almy knew how frustrating it was to have to order cloth diapers online and not know until they arrived what they would look like or feel like or how they would fit. Now you can touch and see the products before you commit.  But cloth diapers are not the only things they carry – at The Natural Baby you can find other wonderfully green solutions from toys to feeding essentials ( for grown ups too!) and even infant/baby carriers including Mei Tei and Ergo brands! They also carry an organic brand of disposable diapers if cloth isn’t your “thing”.

Just a random announcement post!! Remember back when I posted the pics of the awesome new proof books? I said in there that there will be some pricing changes on July 1 and I just wanted to let everyone know that will be happening soon. I will be updating the client info site and my main site with the new pricing. Don’t worry though, I promise it won’t be too drastic and there will actually be some good changes!! New collections for regular sessions and new senior collections along with…… DIGITAL COLLECTIONS! You asked for em, I’m listening!

If you have an active gallery right now or an upcoming scheduled session, your pricing will fall into the old pricing structure. The new pricing is only for new, non-scheduled sessions. As per my policies, all pricing is subject to change at any time and the pricing that is in place at the time of your session is guaranteed for 60 days.

Don’t forget about the awesome sale on the current collections!!!! I have had several clients take advantage of that and get a GREAT deal on alot of prints! Remember, you can pre-purchase at this price but you will need to pay in full by July 1 and you will need to commit to holding your session before Dec 31, 2009.

I believe that about sums it up so I thought in honor of Father’s Day I would post one of my favorite pictures of my wonderful husband and my kids! You can tell from their clothes that it is a little older pic, but it is most defnitely one of my favorites! Sean is a wonderful father and a wonderful husband who helps me out in so many different ways. He is my babysitter when I do my shoots and as most of you know, my shoots usually happen on weekends so he makes big sacrifices to get everything done that he needs to do so that he can be available while I am shooting. I just wanted to give him a shout out, a big THANK YOU, and an “I love you”.

Remember Jack? He came to visit me for his one year pics back in December and guess what – he’s still cute as can be! I’ve been blessed to get to photograph two such handsome little men right in a row! He was a little bit tired as he missed his afternoon nap, but that’s ok because he gave me some really cute expressions anyway! Well look, you can judge for yourself!

I was in Michael’s earlier today and saw a flyer that they will have 60% off CUSTOM framing from Sunday June 14 – Saturday June 20. I thought I’d pass this along in case there are any of you out there with large prints that need framing still! I don’t think you need a coupon but you may want to call over there and double check. Hope this helps someone!

So, if you read my post below, you know that Miss Savannah *tried* to give me a hard time this morning (she didn’t succeed though!) and you saw how she got all “sweet sleepy” on us. Well, I just figured that Miss Harper, being all of 11 days old, would sleep like a log and boy did I get proved wrong – and twice in one day!! It’s like my two girls decided to switch it up today. We did get her snoozin for a bit. No matter though. Awake or asleep, she’s the sweetest little thing. Look at that hair!!! My babies both had loads of it too so I’m a bit partial to babies with hair. Ok, I’m just partial to babies in general…

Meet Harper…

I have to admit, I was so sure Savannah’s almost 1 session would be a piece of cake! I have photographed her three times now and each time she has been the most laid back little thing. But today, she wanted nothing to do with anyone but mommy! She did manage to give me some utter cuteness though. Well, here, you can judge for yourself:

I did her newborn pictures when she was about 6 weeks old. We joked about how she never would go to sleep for us. She made up for it today. I think we plumb wore her out, wouldn’t you agree?
