So you remember Harper right? Well tonight she decided to add in some of her family members for pictures! I’ve known these folks for a long time and it was great to get to see them again tonight! We had a great time taking pics at their house (well, Harper might not totally agree about the “great time” part as there was this little “reindeer outfit incident…”). I think they make a nice looking group actually and of course Harper is aa cute as can be! I LOVE her hair and her chub-ness. She is too too sweet!! Here are a few previews for you guys! Hope you like them!

So you booked your family session. Inevitably, the next question you are going to ask me is: “what should we wear”. Coordinate – definitely a must. Be exact matches of each other, well, not as  much, but it works. Try this instead…

This family is a perfect example of what to wear. See how everyone’s colors tend to radiate off of sweet little Lauren’s colorful sweater? Her sweater is bold, but not overbearingly so and the coordination of all of her family member’s clothes go perfectly with her trendy little outfit. Of course it doesn’t hurt that her mommy is an interior designer and I know for a fact that she has style because I used to roomy with her and borrow her clothes! And you guys will definitely be seeing this shot on my client site under the “what to wear tab”!

A few of my favs of the beautiful kids. This was officially Lauren’s 1 yr session, just a little bit late! You met Lauren twice earlier this year – at 3 months and again at 6 months.

So, I had a pretty crazy weekend!! I ended up shooting 5 sessions which is a gracious plenty for me!! Two were for family members, two for coworkers, and one for a wonderful past client. Three of them I previewed on Facebook so they have all seen those, but if you are a blog reader but not a Facebook friend, YOU haven’t seen them!! So here they are…

First up, my cousin, her handsome beau, and two out of three of their beautiful girls…

On Sunday morning I headed over to Founder’s gardens and met up with April and Ty and Theron and Maggie. You may remember Theron as a newbie… well he is growing like a little weed! Can you believe how much he has changed? And his big sis Maggie is so busy busy, but I think we still got some great shots of her!!

So as they were pulling out, ANOTHER Ty and April were pulling in. This one happened to be my brother and sister in law. I know! How crazy is that? Not only do I know TWO Ty and April’s but I shot them back to back this weekend!! They also brought along my beautiful niece and nephew, Jessie and Eli.

Whew!! So add Kason, and Tom and Jamie into the mix, and there’s my weekend in a nutshell!! It was fun times though and I enjoyed each and every session!! Everyone be patient w/me and I will try and get your galleries up asap!!

I had such a great time tonight with this sweet couple! Tom is one of my coworkers and his wife Jamie had such a fun and sweet personality! I’m so thankful to have met her! They are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first baby on New Year’s Eve!! I know that she or he will make an awesome Christmas present for them and will truly bless their family! I hope you guys enjoy these previews! I will get back to you asap with the rest!!

(and a PS – I have a few other sessions from this weekend that I need to preview but I PROMISE to get them up tomorrow!! It’s getting late.., )

This is the 2nd Sat in a row I have photographed a precious preemie miracle! Seems only fitting as Nov is National Prematurity Awareness Month!! Today was actually Kason’s due date, but he is 7 weeks old! He was a strong fighter from day one and actually weighed over 4 lbs when he was born. He lived in the NICU for just a couple of short weeks and has been home with his loving family ever since! I was honored to get to take his pictures today. I had made plans with his mommy to do maternity pictures, but apparently Kason had other plans!! Hope you guys like the preview!!

Tonight I was blessed to meet sweet Avery and her sweet mommy. What a wonderfully laid back and happy baby she is! We changed her clothes, pushed her past her supper time, fed her to the mosquitoes (seriously people, what’s up with those on the 1st of Nov??) and she didn’t so much as whimper. What an awesome baby! Her mama is truly blessed to have such a sweet and beautiful little girl. I hope you guys like the sneak peek! She is way too precious!!
